TULIP SEASON

about 30-40 miles north of seattle are hundreds of tulip fields near mt. vernon, washington. its a huge draw for tourists and locals. i took a drive up there a few days ago, despite the 37 degree weather, to see them for the first time in my 4 years here. simply amazing.

the kent valley was under a thick blanket but had a clear view of mt. ranier.
